FIELDLUME Limited Lifetime Warranty

At FIELDLUME, we stand behind the quality and durability of our products.

Eligible FIELDLUME flashlights purchased directly from fieldlume.com or fieldlume.com.au for delivery in Australia, the United States or New Zealand on or after 1 January 2026 are covered by our Limited Lifetime Warranty, subject to the terms below.

What “Lifetime” Means

For this warranty, “Lifetime” means for as long as the original purchaser owns the eligible product.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Proof of purchase may be required when making a warranty claim.

What Is Covered

FIELDLUME warrants eligible flashlights against defects in materials and workmanship under normal and intended use.

Covered non-battery components may include:

  • flashlight body and housing
  • LED
  • driver and internal electronics
  • lens
  • switches
  • structural components

If an eligible product develops a defect covered by this warranty, FIELDLUME will assess the product and, at our discretion, repair or replace the affected product or component.

If the original model is discontinued or unavailable, FIELDLUME may provide a replacement product with comparable functionality and value.

Where repair or replacement is not reasonably available, FIELDLUME will provide any additional remedy required by applicable law.

Rechargeable Batteries

Rechargeable batteries are not covered by the FIELDLUME Limited Lifetime Warranty.

This includes:

  • built-in rechargeable batteries
  • removable rechargeable batteries
  • rechargeable batteries purchased separately

Rechargeable batteries are consumable components whose capacity and performance naturally decline with use, charging cycles, age, storage conditions and operating conditions.

This exclusion does not limit any rights or remedies that may apply under applicable consumer protection laws.

Accessories

The following accessories are covered by a 1-Year Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship:

  • charging cases, excluding rechargeable battery cells
  • charging cables
  • remote pressure switches
  • mounts

Clips, lanyards, holsters, headbands and similar non-electronic accessories do not carry a separate FIELDLUME voluntary warranty.

Any rights available under applicable consumer protection laws remain unaffected.

What Is Not Covered

The FIELDLUME Limited Lifetime Warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

  • normal wear and tear
  • accidental damage
  • misuse or abuse
  • use outside the product’s intended operating conditions
  • damage caused by improper repair, modification or disassembly
  • improper maintenance
  • improper charging
  • damage caused by incompatible batteries or charging equipment
  • failure to follow FIELDLUME operating or safety instructions

Cosmetic wear that does not affect normal operation, including scratches, coating wear and surface marks resulting from ordinary use, is not considered a manufacturing defect.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

  • your order number or other proof of purchase
  • the product model
  • a description of the problem
  • clear photos or video showing the issue where reasonably possible

FIELDLUME will review your claim and provide the next steps.

Please do not send products to FIELDLUME before receiving return instructions.

Warranty Claim Shipping Costs

If FIELDLUME confirms that a product has a defect covered by this warranty, FIELDLUME will cover or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs within Australia, the United States or New Zealand, where applicable.

Please follow the return instructions provided by FIELDLUME and retain shipping receipts if requested.

If inspection determines that the product does not have a covered defect, or that the issue resulted from circumstances excluded from this warranty, FIELDLUME will contact you before any additional inspection or return costs are charged.

Australian Consumer Rights

For customers in Australia, this warranty is provided in addition to rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

United States Consumer Rights

For customers in the United States, this Limited Lifetime Warranty gives you specific legal rights.

You may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

Nothing in this warranty is intended to exclude or restrict any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable federal or state law.

 

New Zealand Consumer Rights

For customers in New Zealand, this warranty is provided in addition to rights and remedies available under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986.

Nothing in this warranty is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

Effective Date

This Limited Lifetime Warranty applies to eligible FIELDLUME products purchased directly from fieldlume.com or fieldlume.com.au on or after:

1 January 2026

Orders placed before the Effective Date, if any, remain subject to the warranty terms applicable at the time of purchase.
